Bakery Sales Executive

Role Description The Bakery Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for driving in-store and bulk sales of bakery products. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming customers, presenting product options, answering questions about ingredients and pricing, and processing orders and payments accurately. The role involves managing display shelves, ensuring products are attractively presented, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with the baking team on product availability. The Bakery Sales Executive will also identify sales opportunities, approach potential corporate and event clients, follow up on inquiries, and maintain customer records. Additional responsibilities may include handling customer feedback, assisting with basic promotional activities, and supporting a clean, safe, and organized sales area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales and customer service skills, including the ability to engage customers, understand their needs, and close sales.
• Experience handling point-of-sale systems, cash, and card transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with walk-in customers and corporate clients.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices, with a willingness to follow bakery standards and guidelines.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple customer requests and maintain a well-presented sales area.
• Ability to work on-site in Accra, including weekends or peak hours, and stand for extended periods as required.
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or food service sales is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales, marketing, or hospitality is beneficial.
