Assistant Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in carrying out topographical and construction surveys for road and building projects.
• Support in operating surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
• Help interpret design plans and layout reference points and lines on construction sites.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and recording site data with accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other surveyors to ensure alignment of project goals.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments under the guidance of the lead surveyor.
• Ensure that all surveying tasks are performed in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic or Geomatics Engineering.
• 3 – 4 years of relevant work experience in surveying, particularly in road and building/civil engineering projects.
• Proficient in the use of modern surveying equipment and software.
• Strong understanding of construction layouts and land measurement techniques.
