Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver to join our team as an alarm technician. You will be installing and maintaining a range of alarm systems, analyzing blueprints and plans, and finding and repairing any malfunctions. To ensure success as an alarm technician, you should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of safety codes and regulations, and experience with a variety of alarm systems.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Making sure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations and best industry
practice/standards.
- Installing security and safety alarm systems.
- Respond to emergency service calls.
- Maintain and document works performed.
- Completing all assignments in a timely manner.
- Performing inspections and diagnosing any problems.
- Completing full installations.
- Travelling occasionally to customer locations.
- Reading, understanding, and following product manuals.
- Educating customers on care and maintenance.
- Writing service and status reports.
- Analyzing plans.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Testing all features and equipment to ensure optimum functioning.
- Other duties as assigned
- Install security alarm systems
- Diagnose and repair alarm systems
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance
- Provide customer service
- Respond to emergency service calls
- Test fire alarm systems and components
- Analyzing plans
- Install electrical components and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Maintains records of work performed
- Providing quotes and estimates to clients
Requirements:
- Associate or technical degree.
- Track record of excellent customer service.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Alarm system experience.
- Valid drivers license.
- A willingness to work after hours and on weekends on short notice.
