AL / ML Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• He/She will lead, mentor, and coach the staff in the department.
• Develop and execute a machine learning strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for applying machine learning techniques to improve processes, products, and services.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning research and technology.
• Lead the design and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms.
• Establish evaluation metrics and methodologies to assess model performance.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of machine learning models and iterate on them to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure seamless integration of machine learning solutions with existing systems and processes.
• Monitor model performance in production and implement necessary updates and enhancements.

Qualification and  Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g. Master’s, professional certificates) will be an advantage.
• 3 years in leading machine learning teams and delivering successful machine learning projects.
• Strong understanding of machine learning techniques, and best practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or Java, and experience with machine learning software.
• Solid understanding of data management is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of an organization.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control systems are desirable.
