Job descriptions & requirements
- Creating and processing invoices
- Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
- Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable
- Sending bills and invoices to clients
- Tracking organization expenses
- Processing refunds
- Following up on overdue payments
- Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
- Liaising with regulatory institution on regulatory returns and liabilities
- Reconciliation of cash, bank and general ledger balances
- Maintaining imprest account involving cash disbursement and retirement
- Reporting on key operational expenses, cost and budgets
- Preparation and presentation of financial statements (statement of profit and loss, statement of financial position, statement of changes to equity, statement of cash flow and notes to the financial statements)
- Advisory role in key operational matters
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in microsoft suite/package (excel, word and power point)
- Financial acumen (analysis, compliance, budgeting)
- Technical proficiency (accounting software)
- Essential soft skills like meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication, sharp critical thinking, and strong organizational skills
