Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage and oversee our financial transactions, records, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, along with experience in the e-commerce or retail industry.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,
  • Payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and systems.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and
  • Cash flow statements
  • Perform variance analysis and financial forecasting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning processes to support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Conduct periodic audits to assess financial controls and mitigate risks.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting accounting and finance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification
  •  Proven experience working as an Accountant, preferably in retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with QuickBooks or similar software is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a high level of accuracy and precision in financial record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of financial management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with
