Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including but not limited to:
- Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions in Tally software.
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Handle tax issues and ensure proper filing of tax returns:
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local tax regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and advise management on potential implications for the organization.
Oversee cash flow management:
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity position, and provide recommendations for optimizing cash utilization.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets to support strategic decision- making.
Manage fixed assets and depreciation of assets ledger:
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
- Calculate and record depreciation expenses in accordance with accounting standards.
Provide management accounting support:
- Prepare and analyze management reports, variance analysis, and financial performance metrics.
- Assist management in making informed business decisions based on financial analysis and insights.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of post- chartered experience.
- Proficiency in Tally software and other accounting tools.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial management practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non- financial stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
