The Youth Engagement & Learning Associate will play a key role in the transformative Harnessing Agricultural Productivity and Prosperity for Youth (HAPPY) program. The objective is to enhance the well-being, resilience, and active participation of youth - especially women in Ghana. Our Mission: involves deploying agro-employability-focused education through diverse platforms across Ghana, emphasizing social inclusion in every facet of our training.

Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Overall Project Management and Compliance
- Implement programs focusing on Learning and Development, ideation, and implementation of youth empowerment interventions.
- Lead pipeline building for ideal candidate profiles to form a strong supply base for employers
- Plan and coordinate 'Train the Trainer' sessions, instructional design, and LMS coordination to reach all learner segments, including Northern and Blue-collar segments.
- Establish a proper monitoring and evaluation system for measuring the effectiveness of training programs.
- Engage public and private stakeholders to build partnerships
- Lead the facilitation of soft skills, Business related and employability skills training sessions.
- Support pre-employment interventions such as CV clinics, candidate assessment etc for participants.
- Provide technical inputs during the planning, organizing, and coordination of project monitoring processes, assessments, surveys, research, and evaluations.
- Work closely with sales, partner engagement teams to determine training gaps, plan and address those gaps at points of candidate sourcing.
- support in identifying job vacancies with partner companies / employers, especially entry level roles for youth participants of the program. (Comes with monthly targets)
- Match job roles with available candidates on the program (job placement) - Key deliverable tied to targets.
- Work closely with MEL and other units to collect required data of participants.
- Scout externally for suitable candidates to fill available roles where there are no fits within the HAPPY database.
- Act as a field content driver for www.jobberman.com.gh/youthengagement.
- Support the team in achieving the overall goals and objectives of the youth engagement component of Jobberman.
- Develop and submit activity plans for review and implementation.
- Identify, build, and manage collaborative partnerships with governments and other stakeholders.
- Proactively form relationships with implementing partners to complement Jobberman’s funding.
- support End to end event management.
Overall Project Management and Compliance:
- Support the team in ensuring that the overall goal and objectives of YE are achieved.
- Coordinate all physical and online training in in implementing regions
- Provide partners' reports and feedback.
- Develop and submit activity plans for the Youth Engagement (YE).
- Maintain a good relationship with all candidate sourcing partners and actors.
- Cultivate existing relationships and develop new funder relationships.
- Tailor soft skills training to the relevant demography
Skills & Competencies:
- Relevant Experience in a Similar Role will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of the agricultural sector, including knowledge of best practices, trends, and challenges, to tailor training programs effectively.
- Ability to create engaging and impactful instructional materials for diverse learner segments.
- Experience in coordinating and managing training events, both physical and online, with attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, bringing innovative ideas and measurable strategies to meet youth engagement objectives.
