We are seeking an energetic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Officer. The successful candidate will ensure that all parts in the warehouse are secure and always kept in good condition. The successful candidate will also create schedules, monitor stock levels at the warehouse and know when to replenish stock.
Profil request:
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks.
Receive and check consignments (imported and local purchases) against delivery note before shelving. Liaise with all branches to ensure that inter branch transfer of parts are fully documented and internal control procedures followed. Keep warehouse and its surrounding clean and tidy. Promptly report all parts shortages to the General Manager – Aftersales / Parts Manager. Propose parts to be ordered based on the current stock levels. Report damages immediately to management Be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of facilities in the warehouse. Supply both the workshop and retail counters Obtain authorization from the General Manager – Aftersales / Parts Manager before receiving any part that has already been issued out to the workshop or client into stock Obtain written authorization from General Manager – Aftersales / Parts Manager before issuing any waybill. Ensure that no parts are supplied to any client unless it is fully covered by (i) an invoice and receipt for cash transaction or (ii) an invoice and work order for credit transaction Ensure parts are checked by technicians/retail customers and signed for. Check all damaged goods returned before taking them back to stock Coordinate the loading of the parts/tires in trucks to ensure it is done safely and in accordance with the picking list.
