Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operations of our finished goods warehouse. This role is responsible for overseeing receiving and shipping activities, system accounting, inventory control, plan coordination, and team management. The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, maintain high safety and quality standards through 6S implementation, and coordinate effectively across internal and external departments to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage the daily operations of the finished goods warehouse, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, system accounting, and plan coordination.
- Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse staff, ensuring effective allocation of work and completion of daily assignments.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance assessments for warehouse teams to maintain high operational standards.
- Conduct daily 6S inspections of the storage area to uphold standards of organization, cleanliness, and safety.
- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Identify and mitigate safety hazards proactively.
- Coordinate and collaborate with warehouse internal teams including forklift operations, receiving, shipping, and data teams to execute daily plans efficiently.
- Liaise with external departments including import/export, HR, security, production workshops, transportation, and planning to ensure seamless communication and operational alignment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all warehouse-related inter-departmental matters.
- Analyze and summarize all warehouse anomalies and operational issues.
- Participate actively in core management discussions with Chinese management to formulate and implement solutions.
- Proactively identify operational challenges, report them promptly, and drive effective resolution.
- Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and resilience in overcoming operational difficulties.
- Oversee system accounting and inventory accuracy, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Manage inventory levels to meet production and customer demand without overstocking.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse or logistics management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in team leadership, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and system accounting.
- Understanding of 6S principles and occupational health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse management systems.
