Job Summary
We are seeking a person for business development, who can have business meetings (can include lunch or dinner). The candidate will have good understanding of the business environment and cultural differences between Ghana and foreign countries and can convey and summarize the nuances and essence of what the meeting subjects say. The ideal candidate must accurately convert written material from one language into English (or vice versa), ensuring the meaning, context, and tone of the original text are preserved. The ideal candidate will have excellent command of both source and target languages, as well as cultural sensitivity and linguistic expertise.

Job Description:
- Translate written documents, articles, reports, and other materials from source language to English and the local dialect.
- Must be active and have an outgoing personality
- Must be able to have business meetings offline / online with me
- Ensure translated content retains the original meaning, tone, and intent.
- Proofread and edit translations for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
- Research technical and industry-specific terminology to ensure accurate translations.
- Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality output.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and follow all data protection protocols
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple translation projects simultaneously.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, English, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a translator or similar role.
- Fluency in English and the local languages both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficient in translation software and tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Certification in translation is an added advantage
