Job Summary
We are looking for a result-driven team leader to be to assist the Quality Assurance and Production Managers in the following areas:
- Minimum Qualification: HND
- Experience Level: Mid level
- Experience Length: 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Cleaning (Environment, Work Surfaces, Equipment and Machinery)
- Monitor and Report on Pest Control Activities
- In Process Quality Control
- Raw Materials and Finished Products Conformance Inspection
- Supervision of Staff in adhering to Good Manufacturing Process
- Ensure proper documentation of items for Production
- Ensure proper accounting of Raw Materials, Finished Goods, and Waste Products
- Inspect Products at Various stages of Production
- Monitor, Measure, and Report on Production processes and performance and ensure effective communication among team members
- Plan, Organize and Lead a team of Production workers to achieve a target and output, starting time, and yield on a daily basis
- Ensure good housekeeping and safety at the workplace
- Any other duties assigned from time to time by the supervisor
Qualification:
- A minimum of HND in Laboratory Science, Food Technology, or Nutrition, Science related field.
- Working in the food industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality and production safety methods and requirements
- Experience in manufacturing or related fields is preferred
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Good communication skills and desire to work with other team members
