Job Description/Requirements

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Perform large-scale benchmarks for competitive analysis and comparative analysis.
  • Design tools to automate product definitions, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis. Provide detailed data analysis of functionality, performance, and latency.
  • Develop methodologies to optimize HW/SW performance and power management to maximize Perf/WATTand user-experience on AC and on DC power. Feedback improvement areas to the different architecture and design teams teams.
  • Research new architectural features for next generation GPU, CPU and SOC to optimize performance and power features development, and transcend product goals.
  • Tackle multi-variable problems via system level modeling, testing and characterization, trend analysis/projection, and model verification. Brings depth and expertise in product performance-per-watt feature development.


What we need to see:

  • MS in EE, CE, CS, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience. 
  • Over 5 years of experience in a related hardware engineering position focuses on Performance and Power analysis and optimization. 
  • Understands system-level thermal, power, frequency, and/or voltage limited workload behavior, and the impact of hardware design trade-offs on the limiters.
  • Knowledgeable in MOSFETs, digital design, scripting, signal integrity, statistics, timing analysis, fault analysis, sampling, computer architecture, filters.
