System Administrator

Role Purpose

Responsible for the management, maintenance, and technical oversight of an organization's financial systems and software. This role involves ensuring the integrity, security, and optimal functionality of financial software applications, databases, and related technologies to support accurate financial data management and reporting.

Role Responsibility

•Administer and maintain financial software applications, including installation, configuration, and updates.
•Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations in coordination with IT teams and software vendors.
•Test new features, modules, or versions to ensure compatibility and functionality.
•Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
•Keep records of changes, upgrades, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
•Generate and distribute financial reports and data extracts as needed by stakeholders and management.
•Collaborate with finance and reporting teams to develop automated reporting solutions.
•Ensure financial systems comply with industry regulations and internal controls.
•Prepare for and support financial audits, providing necessary documentation and assistance to auditors.
•Establish and maintain relationships with software vendors and service providers.
•Coordinate vendor support for system issues and collaborate on system improvements.

Professional / Technical Competencies

•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
•Minimum of two years’ experience in an Accounting and Finance role
•Experience with database management and administration
•Strong technical skills and proficiency in financial software applications (, ERP systems, accounting software).
•Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
•Project management skills and experience are advantageous.
