Job Summary

The Survey Engineer will be responsible for executing large-scale, complex, and high-requirement surveying and layout work to support the construction expansion at the Ghana Glass Factory. This role requires a technically proficient engineering professional capable of managing precise spatial measurements, operating advanced surveying equipment, and ensuring all structural elements align perfectly with engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will bring rigorous data standards to maintain high-quality control across the entire construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive on-site surveying and precise layouts according to engineering drawings to accurately determine building positions, axes, elevations, and control points.

Establish, calibrate, and maintain the on-site measurement control network and leveling points to ensure long-term data consistency.

Expertly operate total stations, levels, GPS, and other specialized instruments for layout execution, elevation control, and verification measurements.

Perform actual physical measurements for each construction process, verifying that all dimensions and elevations strictly comply with blueprints to provide a reliable measurement basis for quality inspections.

Organize raw measurement data, process it using specialized software, and submit timely measurement results to assist in completing final surveying documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

* Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Surveying Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.

* Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on, on-site surveying experience, with thorough familiarity with industrial construction layout procedures.

* Technical Skills: Proficient in operating advanced surveying instruments, specifically total stations, levels, and GPS-RTK.

* Software Proficiency: Strong ability to read complex construction drawings and utilize CAD along with measurement data processing software.
