Job summary
CHENAN Africa is seeking a motivated and well-organized Student Affairs Placement Officer to support our students beyond the classroom. The role focuses on *internship placement, **university admission support within Ghana, and the development of **structured student and partner databases*. This position plays a key role in improving student outcomes and strengthening CHENAN Africa’s institutional credibility.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Internship & Placement Coordination
- Identify and secure internship opportunities aligned with students’ profiles (skills, background, English level, and career goals)
- Build and maintain professional relationships with companies, NGOs, schools, and organizations across Ghana
- Match students to appropriate internship opportunities and follow up on placements
- Maintain accurate records of internship partners and student placements
- University Admission Support (Ghana)
- Guide students interested in studying in Ghana through the university admission process
- Assist Chenan students with application preparation and follow-up until enrollment
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of Ghanaian universities, programs, requirements, and contacts
- Track student progress from initial inquiry to successful registration
- Student Data Management & Reporting
- Create and maintain a structured student database
- Track student goals, academic transitions, and placements
- Prepare periodic reports for management on placements, partnerships, and student outcomes
- Student Support & Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for students regarding academic and professional transition matters
- Provide clear, accurate, and official information to students (no unofficial promises)
- Work closely with academic and administrative teams to ensure student success
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of the Ghanaian education and work system (universities and admissions) is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and build external partnerships
- Strong spoken and written English skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable engaging with institutions and professionals
- Student-centered mindset
- Able to represent CHENAN Africa professionally at all times
Salary: GHS 2,500 – GHS 3,500
