Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

Lead all daily operations of the Twyford showroom, ensuring a premium customer experience that reflects our brand standards.

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.

Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales consultants and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and deep product knowledge.

Implement and maintain high standards of visual merchandising, product display, and showroom cleanliness.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, contractors, and developers.

Analyze sales data and market trends to inform inventory planning and commercial decisions.

Ensure excellent after-sales service, including managing custom orders, delivery coordination, and client feedback.

Uphold all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.

Requirements

5+ years of retail management experience within a major, structured building materials or home improvement retail chain.

Ideal candidates will have benefited from a comprehensive in-house training program and understand best practices in sales processes, customer service, and store operations from a market leader.

Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a sales team. Experience in staff training and performance management is crucial.

Strong understanding of retail KPIs, sales forecasting, inventory management, and margin control.

A passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term client relationships.

Resilience and the ability to thrive in a new, dynamic international environment. Experience working in or relocating within Africa is beneficial.
