Showroom Sales Consultant

Job Summary

The Showroom Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales by assisting customers in selecting sanitary ware, tiles, and related products. This role combines product knowledge, customer service, and strong sales skills to achieve individual and showroom sales targets while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to understand their project requirements and budget
• Promote and sell sanitary ware, tiles, fittings, and accessories
• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
• Prepare accurate quotations, estimates, and sales orders
• Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to maximize sales value
• Explain product features, specifications, and installation requirements
• Assist customers with tile combinations, layouts, and design suggestions
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations to close sales
• Build and maintain relationships with walk-in customers, contractors, architects, and designers
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery
• Maintain showroom displays and ensure products are clean and presentable
• Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and market trends

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven sales experience, preferably in sanitary ware, tiles, ceramics, or building materials
• Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
• Ability to work with sales targets and performance incentives
• Good understanding of measurements, layouts, and basic technical details
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills (POS, quotation software, CRM, MS Office)
