Senior Golang Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang, with a focus on Gin and Gorm frameworks.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and design teams to integrate backend services with JavaScript-based frontends.

• Utilize Java for certain backend components, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to solve complex problems.

• Participate in code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure scalability of applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.

• Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in backend development, especially in Golang.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring high reliability and availability.

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of proven experience as a GoLang Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Golang, Gin, and Gorm.

• Proficient in JavaScript and Java, with a solid understanding of their integration with backend services.

• Experience in developing scalable and high-performing backend systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write efficient and clean code.

• Good knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
