Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a new 3D video codec engine, focusing on streaming applications
- Implement and optimize 3D video compression and decompression functionalities, including adaptation for target hardware
- Specialize in the development of 3D video streaming capabilities within the codec
- Ensure seamless integration of the 3D video codec into streaming applications
- Conduct testing and validation, addressing any issues in collaboration with quality assurance teams
- Create comprehensive documentation for the 3D video codec, including APIs and usage guidelines
Required:
- This position requires mandatory Upwork profile
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in implementing video codecs such as MVC, HEVC (H.265), or VP9
- Strong understanding of video compression standards and algorithms
- Proficient in C/C++ programming for multimedia applications
- Experience with 3D video streaming and integration into streaming applications
