Sales & Partnership Executive (tours)

Job Summary:
To drive steady tour bookings by building and managing a structured sales pipeline, developing partnerships with inbound tour operators and group organizers, and converting inbound/outbound/corporate leads into booked tours.
Key Responsibilities
A) Sales Pipeline & Conversion
- Handle and convert inbound inquiries (email, WhatsApp, IG/FB, website)
- Follow up on leads using a structured sales process
- Create tour proposals, quotations, and packages
- Close group bookings and coordinate with operations for delivery
- Maintain a CRM tracker (Google Sheets is enough to start)
B) Partnerships & Business Development
- Build and manage a database of:
- inbound tour operators (international)
- local corporate contacts
- diaspora associations
- schools and group coordinators
- Reach out weekly to new prospects (minimum activity targets)
- Manage partnership relationships and negotiate commissions/discount terms
C) Branding Support (sales/marketing alignment)
- Work with social media personnel to create:
- offers and campaigns
- testimonials
- itineraries and trip highlights
- Provide sales insights: what people ask, what packages convert best
D) Reporting & Growth Planning
- Weekly report to Executive Director:
- pipeline volume
- conversion rate
- partnerships approached
- bookings forecast (next 60–90 days)
- Suggest product improvements and pricing strategy based on market response
Requirement
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in relevant field OR equivalent experience
- 2+ years in travel sales, BD, or hospitality sales preferred
- Strong sales ability, proposal writing, and negotiation skills
- Highly organized with consistent follow-up discipline
- Comfortable working with international clients and groups
Preferred
- Experience with group tours and itineraries
- Tourism industry knowledge in Ghana
- Corporate sales experience
