Role Description

To be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and dealers in the cabinetry, furniture and interior design industry. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the customed-made furniture, kitchen cabinetry / interior fittings or real estate’s industry.
  • Proven experience managing a sales team and meeting sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce).


Key Tasks and Responsibilities


Sales Strategy and Planning

·        Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and profitability targets.

·        Identify and explore new markets, distribution channels, and customer segments.

·        Prepare annual sales budgets, forecasts, and action plans.

·        Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust strategies accordingly.


Business Development

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers.

·       Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.

·       Negotiate and close large cabinetry projects and dealership contracts.

·       Develop partnerships with real estate developers and building contractors for long-term supply agreements.


Team Leadership and Management

·       Supervise, train, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.

·       Set performance objectives and KPIs for sales representatives.

·       Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.


Sales Operations and Reporting

·       Oversee quotation preparation, pricing, and contract documentation.

·       Monitor daily sales performance and ensure accurate reporting to management.

·       Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports with analysis and recommendations.

·       Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper invoicing and payment collection.
