Job Description

• �� Promote, develop the sales and installation of� pivot irrigation systems
• �� Provide alter sales support and services to clients using pivot irrigation
• �� Provide leadership on participatory water management approaches and irrigation options for farmers
• �� Prepare ideas for innovative actions,including� water application techniques, irrigation methods and field layout promoting efficient and sustainable use of water and endure effective dissemination
  

Qualification Required & Experience

• �� Advanced university degree in a relevant field for irrigation work (hydrology, water conservation, watershed management, etc);including adequate agribusiness knowledge
• �� Minimum of 8 years consistent professional specialization in irrigation planning
• �� Deep seated knowledge of Ghana and its irrigation sector and prospects
• �� Demonstrated competencies at both policy and field implementation level
• �� Ability to transfer knowledge and benefits derived from investment in irrigation
• �� Must be willing and able to travel frequently around the country
• �� Excellent computer skills, Ms word Outlook, Excel Database
• �� Valid driving license
