Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
- Promote and sell the company’s paint and coatings products to retailers, contractors, developers, and individual customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in line with company objectives.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key clients.
- Provide product information, recommendations, and technical guidance to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support to ensure satisfaction.
Channel & Trade Management
- Support dealers with merchandising, product displays, and promotional activities.
- Monitor stock levels at retail outlets and coordinate replenishment.
- Expand dealer network and improve product visibility in the market.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with management.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.
Promotions & Brand Support
- Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional events.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients and contractors.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Good understanding of paint products, coatings, and application methods (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Target-driven and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years of sales experience, preferably in building materials
- Experience dealing with distributors, retailers, and contractors is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
