Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development

  • Promote and sell the company’s paint and coatings products to retailers, contractors, developers, and individual customers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in line with company objectives.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key clients.
  • Provide product information, recommendations, and technical guidance to customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support to ensure satisfaction.

Channel & Trade Management

  • Support dealers with merchandising, product displays, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor stock levels at retail outlets and coordinate replenishment.
  • Expand dealer network and improve product visibility in the market.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights with management.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.

Promotions & Brand Support

  • Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional events.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients and contractors.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.


Key Skills and Competencies

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Good understanding of paint products, coatings, and application methods (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Target-driven and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years of sales experience, preferably in building materials
  • Experience dealing with distributors, retailers, and contractors is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
