As a Field Sales Associate, your primary responsibility is in-person, door-to-door sales.
While Honeyguide will explore multiple sales channels over time including WhatsApp, phone, online, and other digital sales this role will be almost entirely door-to-door at the start and may remain that way for an extended period.
This is a physically active role that requires being on the ground every working day.
You will initially work in areas along and around:
- Pantang
- Oyarifa
- Aburi Road
- East Legon
- Madina
- Adenta
- University of Ghana (Legon)
As we grow, this role is expected to expand across other parts of Accra, and potentially into new regions.
Role Description
- Go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods following prescribed routes
- Nurture campaigns / follow-up sales / phone / text sales
- Speak directly with households about Honeyguide
- Clearly explain our value proposition
- Confidently ask for and close first-time orders
- Collect customer contact details and onboard them to WhatsApp
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth fulfillment
- Track daily activity (conversations, pre-orders, learnings)
- Share real-time feedback from the field to improve scripts and processes
You may also:
- Test new sales approaches and incentives
- Participate in pilots and experiments
Desired Qualifications
This role is a strong fit if you:
- Have 1–3 years of door-to-door or in-person sales experience
- Are energized by speaking to strangers all day
- Are friendly and naturally gravitate towards people
- Are organized, act swiftly, enjoy following protocols and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
- Are confident asking for the sale
- Happy with wearing a uniform & being presentable or well-groomed
- Enjoy working outdoors and being physically active
- Can show up consistently and reliably
- Want more than “just a sales job,” you want to grow with a company
Startup experience is a plus but not required.

Availability Requirement
- Must be able to work in person daily
- Must be able to travel within Accra (starting with East Legon, Madina, Adenta and nearby areas)
