Sales & Marketing Manager (I.T/Tech Sales Background)
Location: Accra
Salary: GHS 12,000 - GHS 15,000 (Gross)
Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the sales & marketing teams, strengthening customer relationships, and increasing brand visibility. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Manage and coach the sales team, ensuring performance, accountability, and productivity.
• Create structured sales processes (pipeline management, follow-up, CRM usage).
• Identify new market opportunities and partnerships.
• Lead enterprise sales engagements, demos, and negotiations.
2. Marketing Strategy & Execution
• Design and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand visibility.
• Lead digital marketing efforts (content, SEO, social media, paid ads).
• Develop marketing campaigns to drive product adoption and lead generation.
• Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly
Oversee brand messaging and ensure alignment across all channels.
3. Product & Market Growth
• Drive adoption of the company's core solutions.
• Conduct market research and customer insights to shape product positioning.
• Support new product launches with Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
4. Customer Engagement & Retention
• Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Implement customer retention strategies and feedback loops.
• Oversee customer onboarding processes and ensure high-quality service delivery.
5. Reporting & Analytics
• Track and report on sales performance, pipeline metrics, and campaign results.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and strategic recommendations for management.
• Use data to improve conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. A Master's Degree is an added plus
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment. With at least 3 years in a management position.
• Candidates who can drive and possess a valid driver’s license are preferred, though it is not mandatory; however, a willingness to drive is required.
• Proven track record in meeting revenue targets.
• Experience leading and managing a sales or marketing team.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
