Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration for media products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities, cultivate leads, and build a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking efforts.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advertisers, agencies, and partners to understand their needs, objectives, and advertising requirements.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to drive brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Utilize a mix of traditional and digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, and events, to reach target audiences effectively.
- Prepare compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches that highlight the value proposition of media products and services and address clients' specific needs and objectives.
- Oversee the execution and delivery of advertising campaigns, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and provide insights and recommendations for optimization to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Generate regular sales reports, performance dashboards, and analytics to track progress against sales targets, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis and client debriefs to gather feedback, assess satisfaction levels, and identify opportunities for upselling and renewals.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships, stay informed about industry developments, and position the company as a thought leader in the media sector.
- Contribute to industry publications, blogs, and forums, sharing insights, trends, and best practices to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
Qualifications:
- HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Media Studies, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience of two years plus in sales, marketing, or advertising roles within the media industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinking, strategic vision, and a passion for media and marketing innovation.
- Having a means of transportation is an advantage.
