Job Title: Quality Inspectors (Paper Packaging)
Department: Production
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager

Role Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting raw materials, in-process work, and finished paper packaging products to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. The role ensures consistent product quality, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming raw materials (paper rolls, inks, adhesives, etc.) for quality compliance before use.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Conduct dimensional checks, strength tests, and visual inspections on packaging products.
Identify, record, and report non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
Work with production teams to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
Ensure finished goods meet customer requirements before release and dispatch.
Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO, GMP, or other quality management systems.
Support training of production staff on quality awareness and best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, defects, and rework.
Key Performance Indicators
Percentage of products meeting quality standards.
Reduction in customer complaints and product returns.
Non-conformance reports and corrective action closure rate.
Accuracy and timeliness of inspection reports.
Contribution to waste reduction and process improvement
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
Diploma/HND in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Packaging Technology, or related field.
2–4 years’ experience in quality inspection/control, preferably in packaging, converting, or manufacturing.
Knowledge of quality assurance tools, sampling plans, and inspection techniques.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is an advantage.
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and quality reporting software).
