Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Public Area Supervisor based in Akosombo. The Public Area Supervisor will oversee and ensure the upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of all public areas within the premises. Daily responsibilities will include inspecting cleaning tasks, managing cleaning staff, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards, and reporting maintenance or repair needs. The role also involves scheduling and supervising shifts, conducting training for staff, and ensuring quality service delivery to enhance guests' overall experience.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in supervising cleaning staff, facility maintenance, and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under time constraints.
  • Experience in training and leading teams, including scheduling and performance management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating between staff and management.
  • Knowledge of safety and health regulations related to facility management is a plus.
  • Prior experience in hospitality or facility management is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in hospitality or a related field is an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
