JOB TITLE: PTW COORDINATOR

This post is based in Ghana on a 12-month fixed term contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be responsible for the daily coordination of the Permit to Work (PTW) system for startup operations on the KNK and reporting on all operations.

Ensures proper documentation and record-keeping for all permits and associated certificates issued for operations and facility construction.

Actively engages with commissioning and facility’s construction teams to monitor and audit on-site Permit to Work activities, ensuring compliance with the Floating Offshore Desalination Plant and Work Management System.

Provides supervision, support, and direction for all daily Permit to Work (PTW) activities to ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Work Management System, PTW requirements, and all relevant FOD procedures.

Supports coordination and forward planning activities to ensure permit requirements are fully planned and ready prior to the start of the next day’s work.

Takes a lead role in safeguarding SIMOPS by ensuring that conflicting permits are not issued.

Oversees the full lifecycle of work permits, from issuance to completion and close-out.

Ensures record-keeping requirements are met by maintaining daily permit log, listing permit types of issues, location and scope of work.

Facilitates and participates in higher-level Permit to Work (PTW) audits.

Actively participates in all PTW meetings.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

HND/Degree in Mechanical engineering or Degree in QHSE

Proficient in using a wide range of computer software applications.

Extensive experience in processing plant operations in upstream/downstream Oil and Gas Industry.

Proven experience in the role of PTW Supervisor or PTW Signatory on large-scale oil and gas projects or operational sites.

Experience in coaching to undertake the Permit Coordinator roles/tasks

Authorized Gas Tester.

Process Isolation / LOTO.

Electrical Safety / Energisation & De-Energisation.
