We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations/General Manager to oversee our engineering operations. The Operations/General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of engineering projects, ensuring efficient project delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects.

Job Description:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate project delays or cost overruns.
- Manage engineering resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and productivity.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to procure necessary materials, supplies, and equipment for engineering projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to monitor compliance with engineering specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance project success and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers, project managers, and technical staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and mutual respect among team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent with Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in engineering or industrial experience
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and methodologies, with expertise in one or more engineering disciplines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Proficiency in project management software, engineering design tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CEng) are desirable but not required.
