Job description:

• Deliver Goods: Safely transport goods and packages from the distribution center or warehouse to designated delivery locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Route Navigation: Navigate assigned routes using GPS or maps, ensuring efficient and timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Package Handling: Handle packages with care, ensuring that they are securely loaded onto the motorbike and properly delivered to customers without damage.
• Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, including greeting customers, confirming delivery details, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking delivery times, obtaining customer signatures for proof of delivery, and documenting any delivery issues or discrepancies.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on the motorbike, including inspecting tires, brakes, lights, and other essential components to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating the motorbike, including wearing appropriate safety gear, obeying speed limits, and practicing defensive driving techniques.
• Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the dispatch team and supervisors, providing updates on delivery progress, route deviations, or any issues encountered during deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid motorcycle driver's license with a clean driving record.
•  Proven experience as a delivery rider or similar role, preferably in a logistics or delivery service environment.
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle packages and endure long hours of riding.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of basic motorcycle maintenance and repair.
