Mechanical Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Identifying each mining company’s requirements for rotating and static equipment such as pumps, valves, agitating mixers, electric motors, and spare parts and advising management on how best to meet the client’s needs.
• Persuading clients (Mining companies) that the company’s products or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance product education, and after-sales support services to the company’s clients.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and quotes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies.

Requirements:

• Candidate should be a Mechanical Engineer with +3 years of work experience in selling technical industrial products to the mining industry
• Must be familiar with the mines in Ghana and should be able to independently handle his designated territory.
• Proven track record of successful sales.
• Strong technical background.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools..
• Driving license
• 3+ years of experience in sales to mining companies.
