Job Description: Plant Mechanic
Location: Weija, Greater Accra
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic with at least 2 years of practical experience to join our operations team in Weija. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing heavy-duty machinery and plant equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults in plant machinery and equipment.
Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty machines.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Replace defective parts and ensure proper installation.·
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and spare parts usage.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Collaborate with supervisors and operators to minimize downtime.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Plant Mechanic.
Diploma, certificate, or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of heavy-duty machinery, engines, and mechanical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively
