Job Summary

Position Holder is responsible for proposing and implementing marketing strategies to promote revenue growth and generation in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

  • Minimum Qualification: MBA / MSc
  • Experience Level: Management level
  • Experience Length: 7 years

Job Description/Requirements

Main Duties: 

  • Responsible for marketing and sales of all hotel facilities.
  • Responsible to understand the hotel’s business strategies and set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
  • Represent the Hotel in various events and exhibitions.
  • Ensure timely responses are provided by the sales team and develop professional long term business relationships.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Provide the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
  • Participate in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and /or close on business.
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
  • Support hotel service and relationship strategy and drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence.
  • Assess training needs based on data gathered and interaction with sales team.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Acquire and develop new business accounts and prepare sales proposals for clients.
  • Close following up on all business leads within 24-hour response timeline to clients.
  • Implement performance appraisals for the sales team as scheduled
  • Perform any other activities as may be directed by Management.


Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience required preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Must have five (5) years of supervisory experience in the hotel management field required.


Qualifications and Required:

  • Must have a minimum of Master’s Degree in Marketing or any related role.
  • A professional qualification will be an added advantage.
