Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns effectively
Sales & Transactions
- Process sales accurately using POS systems or cash registers
- Handle cash, mobile money, and card payments responsibly
- Achieve sales targets and promote ongoing offers or promotions
Merchandising & Stock Management
- Arrange and display products attractively to maximize sales
- Monitor inventory levels and report low or out-of-stock items
- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming stock
Shop Maintenance
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
- Maintain proper labeling and pricing of all items
- Follow health and safety standards
Record Keeping & Reporting
- Keep accurate records of sales and inventory
- Assist in stock-taking and periodic audits
- Report daily sales and operational issues to the supervisor
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of Senior High School (SHS) or equivalent; additional certification in sales or retail is a plus
- 3–5 years proven experience in retail or as a shop attendant
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic numeracy and computer skills (POS systems knowledge preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Salary:GHc 1,500 to GHc1,800net
