JOB PURPOSE
The role supports the operations of the Company by providing legal support and will be responsible
for providing legal advice covering corporate and commercial activities including negotiating of
contracts and appropriate commercial arrangements. The role will also be responsible for managing
the company’s contractual arrangements and ensuring regulatory compliance of the business
activities of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Provide legal advice on all corporate and commercial transactions of the company.
● Draft and review contracts and such governing and commercial documentation required for the
company’ activities.
● Manage the documents and files of the Company.
● Ensure regulatory compliance and conduct such necessary filings required by Ghanaian law.
● Work in collaboration with the necessary departments/ teams on RFPs and such transactions as
may be required.
● Provide company secretarial services and/or liaise with external company Secretary
● Attend meetings and document minutes of meetings.
● Providing advice on legislative developments and directives.
● Interact with regulatory agencies.
● Provide legal support to HR.
● Any other duties assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
REQUIREMENTS
● A minimum of a Qualifying Certificate in Law
● A minimum of Five (5) years working experience in a similar role is highly desirable
● Strong knowledge and understanding of the law and legal principles
● Knowledge of legislative developments particularly in the telecommunications sector
● Strong Legal Advisory Skills
● Knowledge of the telecoms industry and experience of regulation in the industry
