Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Measurement Operator to join our Engineering team in Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting precise field measurements and ensuring accurate data collection to support infrastructure projects. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Surveys & Instrument Operation
• Operate total stations, auto/digital levels, GPS-RTK systems, and other surveying tools proficiently.
• Perform independent field surveys: topographic mapping, boundary marking, and construction layout.
• Construction Layout & Verification
• Set out building axes, road alignments, drainage systems, and structural elements based on design plans.
• Verify as-built conditions, monitor earthwork volumes, and check compliance with design tolerances.
• Data Management
• Record, process, and analyze field data using software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS tools).
• Prepare survey reports, sketches, and digital maps for project teams.
• Quality & Safety
• Ensure all work meets accuracy standards (±3mm–5mm precision).
• Adhere to site safety protocols (PPE, hazard reporting).

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical Proficiency:
• Demonstrated experience with total stations (angle/distance measurement, coordinate calculations) and auto/digital levels (elevation control, differential leveling).
• Ability to work independently in remote/rural sites with minimal supervision.
• Experience:
• 3+ years in infrastructure surveying (roads, pipelines, buildings, or related civil works).
