Head Of Product Development At Airline Company

This new flagship airline would connect the sub-region with the rest of the world. As part of the start-up team of executives, the relevant position would enable you to have a solid input to the success and direction of this exciting new venture. These are exciting opportunities for experienced professionals. As one of the senior executives within the business you will be a key member of the team to set and develop your department.
As part of the senior management team, you will develop all policies, procedures and systems for a new Airline and will have direct responsibility for the development and implementation of the strategy for this new Airline. We offer competitive compensation and benefit packages.
Reports directly to the Chief Customer Officer (CXO)
Responsibilities

• Ensuring the highest standards of products and services are continuously developed and implemented for that will ensure we deliver excellent customer service and exceed expectations.
• Analyse customer data, hospitality and industry trends to support new product ideas and enhance existing products.
• Arrange for all key stakeholders to be consulted on implementation practicalities, draw up project plans,regularly review progress ensuring project implementation targets are met and continue to review ongoing performance of the product/service against initially evaluated objectives.
• Encourage staff and other internal stake holders to make well thought out and practical new product ideas, maintaining processes for tapping such ideas and completing comprehensive evaluations of the same.
  

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must be a University graduate or degree holder
• Comprehensive knowledge of products and processes within passenger services, passenger support services and baggage services
• Understanding of customer trends
• Ability to produce implementation plans and monitor progress
• Ability to propose product improvement recommendations and solutions to problems
• Ability to present, evaluate, and analyse data
• Project management and leadership skills
• Knowledge of Basic Aviation rules and regulations
• Well versed with In flight Service Standards and Procedures
