Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an effective compliance management framework.
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee KYC and AML/CFT compliance activities.
- Identify, assess, and report compliance risks.
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective measures.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and procedures
- Ensure regulatory directives are properly implemented.
- Conduct compliance reviews and provide guidance to departments.
- Prepare regular compliance reports for management.
- Promote a strong compliance and ethical culture throughout the institution.
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Relevant compliance, AML/CFT, or risk qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in banking, compliance, risk, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, KYC, AML/CFT, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and investigative skills.
