Job summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage group reservations, ensure smooth coordination of bookings, and provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hotel systems such as Opera PMS is essential. The ability to speak French will be an added advantage. Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Ensures all reservations are handled accurately, courteously, and in accordance with hotel standards.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and no-shows in line with company policies.
- Maintains efficient filing and follow-up systems.
- Provides accurate rate quotations and clearly communicates the hotel’s cancellation policy.
- Ensures guest profiles are created and maintained effectively in the Property Management System (Opera).
- Handles guest complaints promptly, professionally, and ensures satisfactory resolution.
- Process bank transfers, deposits, and credit card transactions accurately.
- Stay informed on current promotions, room rates, and pricing structures to maximize sales opportunities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Respond professionally to all enquiries—whether in person, via telephone, or email.
- Receive and make calls for guests while demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette.
