Training
Grant writer experience is a must. Excellent written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, office equipment, the internet, and computers.
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, mission-aligned grant writer to help us increase our funding capacity. You’ll help draft compelling applications, refine narratives, and track submissions that will fund our Stay in School initiative, Ability without Limits, Community Impact Projects, Skills & Startup Empowerment, and Health for Purpose initiative campaigns. Your contribution will directly support Bridgeway in action.
This role requires exceptional writing abilities, strong research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate our organization's mission and impact to potential funders.
Responsibilities
- Research potential grant opportunities from various sources
- Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to gather information and develop grant proposals that align with organizational goals and priorities.
- Write clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate the organization's mission, objectives, and impact.
- Ensure that all grant proposals are submitted on time and meet the requirements of the funding source.
- Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes
- Build and maintain relationships with funders and grant-making organizations
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and funding opportunities to maximize success in securing grants.
