Financial Analyst

Role Description This part-time Financial Analyst role is a hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Financial Analyst will support Inputs Daily’s business and media operations by analyzing financial data, preparing regular and ad hoc financial reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities. The role involves reviewing financial statements, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying trends that inform strategic and operational decisions. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on revenue streams, cost structures, and investment opportunities, and will help maintain accurate financial records and models. The position requires proactive communication of findings, preparation of concise presentations for internal stakeholders, and adherence to relevant financial controls and policies.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and understanding of financial models.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Candidates should possess experience working with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and variance analysis.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in spreadsheet and financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software) and basic knowledge of BI or data visualization tools is beneficial.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to present complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage part-time hours, prioritize tasks independently, and collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with media, technology, or consumer industries and an interest in business trends and market developments are beneficial.
