In partnership with our client, we are seeking a
Field Sales Manager to lead the charge in establishing and growing a pioneering women's wellness and skincare brand in Ghana. This is more than a sales role. You will be the face of the brand in a key strategic market, building the commercial foundation that will define its presence across West Africa. Your Responsibilities...
Market Expansion & Distribution
- You will identify, source, and secure strong distributor partnerships within Ghana.
- You will build and maintain relationships with key retail chains, pharmacies, beauty stores, and modern trade outlets.
- You will negotiate commercial terms, onboarding processes, and launch timelines with retail and distribution partners.
- You will develop and execute a clear go-to-market strategy for Ghana aligned with overall West Africa objectives.
- You will continuously map the competitive landscape and identify new growth opportunities.
Retail & Activation Execution
- You will support in-market activations, pop-ups, and retail launches in collaboration with the marketing and brand teams.
- You will ensure brand visibility and execution standards are maintained across all retail touchpoints.
- You will coordinate product launches and promotional campaigns locally.
Commercial Performance & Reporting
- You will own monthly sales tracking and retail performance reporting.
- You will provide structured weekly updates to the Head of West Africa including key wins, challenges, pipeline developments, and revenue forecasts.
- You will maintain distributor accountability for sell-in and sell-out targets and generate timely market intelligence reports.
Operations & Self-Management
- You will manage your own schedule, retailer visits, distributor meetings, and reporting cadence with strong discipline and initiative.
- You will act as the brand's in-market representative, upholding brand standards and professionalism at all times.

- A strong and growing network of distributor and retail partnerships established within the first 90 days.
- Consistent achievement of monthly sell-in and sell-out targets across all retail channels.
- Clear and structured weekly reporting that keeps the regional team informed and aligned.
- Successful execution of in-market activations and product launches that drive brand visibility and revenue.
- A well-mapped competitive landscape with actionable growth opportunities identified quarterly.
To be considered for this role you should have...
- Proven experience in business development, distribution, retail partnerships, or FMCG/beauty market expansion.
- A strong existing network within Ghana's beauty, pharmacy, or modern retail ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results without direct supervision.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Experience in beauty, skincare, FMCG, or health and wellness industries, prior experience launching or scaling a brand in Ghana, and an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ownership mentality.
