Job Summary
We are looking to hire farmhands to work in both greenhouses and open-field vegetable farms. Applicants should have experience in farming vegetables, especially habanero pepper.
- Minimum Qualification: High School (S.S.C.E)
- Experience Level: Entry level
- Experience Length: 1 year
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
-  Undertake basic agronomic practices on the farm such as weeding, fertilizer application, pesticide application, watering etc.
- Assist in the installation of irrigation lines
- Assist in repairing broken fence walls around the farm
- Operate or use assigned farm machinery, tools and equipment for work purposes
- Ensure that the farm and surroundings are clean and free from diseases and pest
- Undertake all other activities assigned by supervisorÂ
Requirements:
- Must have hands-on experience in vegetable farmingÂ
- Must be willing to learn very fast
- Able to read and write is an advantage but not a requirement
- Strong and energetic
- Must be ready to listen to simple instructions and adhere to them accordinglyÂ
