Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Farm Supervisor to join our team. The Farm Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily farm operations, managing a team of farm workers, and ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of resources to achieve production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Description/Requirements
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily farming activities, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
- Implement and enforce best practices in crop management to optimize yields and quality.
- Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to farming operations to minimize risks and maximize productivity.
- Lead and motivate a team of farm workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of activities.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement among team members.
- Manage farm resources efficiently, including labour, equipment, and supplies, to achieve production goals within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment maintenance, and crop yields.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of inputs and proper storage of harvested crops.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all crops meet or exceed established standards for freshness, appearance, and nutritional value.
- Conduct regular inspections of fields, crops, and equipment to identify and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with quality assurance and food safety teams to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Certificate in Agriculture or related fields.
- Proven experience in farm management or supervisory role, preferably in a commercial farming operation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of crop production techniques, agronomic principles, and pest management practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using farm equipment and technology, including GPS, irrigation systems, and farm management software.
- Commitment to safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
