Event Marketing Manager

What you’ll be doing

• Own the strategic planning of participation in events within the market research industry as well as vertical-specific events
• Develop and execute comprehensive event plans aligned with Appinio's market research goals
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to maximize value for the company
• Communicate and plan with our booth builder to ensure a captivating event presence
• Liaise with internal stakeholders for cohesive event coordination
• Coordinate pre- and post-communication planning in line with our Social, CRM, and Sales teams
• Implement campaigns to boost attendance and engagement at events
• Identify relevant speaking opportunities and manage internal speakers for selected events
• Coordinate the development and delivery of compelling content for speaking engagements
• Oversee on-site event management, ensuring smooth execution and positive attendee experiences
• Analyze the success of event presence through performance metrics
• Collect feedback from attendees and stakeholders to enhance future events
• Continuously evolve processes and structures to enhance efficiency in event planning

You will thrive in this role if

• You have a strong background in event marketing and event management
• You have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, ideally in a high growth, start-up environment or on the agency side
• You have experience with tools for event management & coordination
• You know how to create a top-notch event plan 
• You know when to involve which stakeholder and how to handle the different needs and requirements
• You have outstanding communication and presentation skills with an eye for details
• You have a portfolio of successful event execution
• You are experienced in managing and delivering multiple priorities / projects to tight deadlines
• You are fluent in German, while at the same time you feel comfortable doing all of the above described steps in english
