Job Description/Requirements
Nice To Have:
- 10+ years of experience with SATCOM engineering
- Experience serving as a subject matter expert in all aspects of transmission, including modulation and coding, link budgets, radio frequency equipment, antennas, waveforms, blockage mitigation, and algorithms or protocols
- Experience supporting analysis of system performance, throughput and response time, analysis of operational requirements, and system loading
- Experience conducting design reviews and systems engineering evaluations of satellite and terminal designs
- Experience participating in proposal and technical evaluations for satellite systems Â
- Knowledge of systems engineering methods and processes to perform SATCOM system analysis and evaluations for both commercial and military systems
- Knowledge of Military Standards (MIL-STDs) and certification processes
- Knowledge of customer or vendor product development, business proposals, marketing interaction, product design, and manufacturing processes
- Secret clearance Â
- Bachelor's degree, or HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in engineering or cyber security

- Ability to translate complex technical issues into meaningful terms for others involved
- Ability to provide in-depth technical assessments and analysis of activities within and between programs
- Ability to support the design of system architectures, terminals, waveforms and access protocols
- Ability to effectively coordinate within and outside of the program management office
