Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport staff, clients, or goods to designated locations
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, etc.) before and after trips
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel consumption, and mileage
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies
- Assist with loading and unloading of items where necessary
- Report any accidents, damages, or mechanical issues promptly
- Ensure all required vehicle documents (insurance, registration,licenses) are valid and up to date
- Provide courteous and professional service at all times
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience as a driver
- Good knowledge of road networks and traffic regulations
- Ability to read maps or use GPS/navigation tools
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Defensive driving certification
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles
