Driver

Job description:

• Passenger Transportation: Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their destinations using the designated mobile application platform.
• Route Navigation: Navigate city streets and routes using GPS or maps to ensure timely and accurate pickups and drop-offs while avoiding traffic congestion and road closures.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition, to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, including greeting them courteously, assisting with luggage or belongings, and accommodating special requests or preferences whenever possible.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle, including obeying speed limits, using turn signals, and wearing seat belts at all times.
• Cleanliness and Presentation: Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle interior and exterior, including regular cleaning and tidying of the passenger area and ensuring that the vehicle is free of debris and odors.
• Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with passengers, responding promptly to inquiries, providing updates on arrival times or route changes, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the ride.
• Recordkeeping: Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fares collected, and any passenger feedback or incidents, and submit required reports to the company as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a transportation or chauffeur service role.
• Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle that meets company standards for safety and cleanliness.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience driving for a ride-hailing service or taxi company.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Additional language proficiency for serving diverse passenger populations.
